A typographical response to Mitch Goldstein’s “A Design Education Manifesto” where the concept was to draw upon Goldstein’s idea of challenging the norm. Utilising Avenir, the bold and timeless design of the typeface highlights Goldstein’s perception of how students should approach the design process.
The intention of the publication was to stay true to the original diary entry of Charles Darwin. Taking on a classical typographic approach, the typeface Bulmer was used to reflect to the Victorian era. The language, typography and errors that are present in the publication give a sense of authenticity.

The publication pays tribute to Bruce Lee and his philosophies. The 3 Coptic bound sections are in reflection of the core idea to Jeet Kune Do where the body is visualised as a triangle.
A proposed annual report for a conservation group Green Utopia. The intention of the annual report was increase environmental awareness by the choice of stock, colour, utilisation of grids and typography to reflect the idea of growth and stability of a tree.
Paper Architecture was an exhibition in collaboration with the 2014 Victorian Architecture Awards curated by Warren Taylor. Selecting Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre by Billard and Leece Partnership, the poster took on a typographical solution. The layout of the poster is based upon the nine windows present on the façade of the building.
A reader designed to typographically reflect Richard Wagner’s radical approach to musical dramas. The reader contains Wagner’s seven most well known musical dramas; they are presented in chronological order with a sudden end to emphasise on the suspension Wagner implemented in his work.
Transcend is a typeface designed in response to a self-directed type project with guidance from type designer Dan Milne. Transcend is a humanist sans serif that embodies the readability of oldstyle Roman typefaces. Much of its characteristics have been influenced by other typefaces such as Cronos, Syntax, Scala Sans and Meta. Inspired by Cronos, Transcend appearance places a strong emphasis on calligraphic strokes and how the angle of the stroke affects its width.

Holiday Hotel is a luxurious hotel situated in the heart of Battambang city, Battambang Province. Drawing inspiration from Battambang’s topography – the Sangkae River and the six mountains located within the Province – a minimal and simplistic approach was taken to develop Holiday Hotel’s new identity.
Save the Children is a non-profit organisation that works hard to protect children and aids in providing them with education and health services in more than 90 countries around the world. A playful yet professional approach was taken in developing the identity. Careful consideration in type selection paired with simple geometric shapes makes the identity recognizable by people around the world of all ages.
